Hakeem Olajuwon calls Jeremy Lin, Dwight Howard duo 'deadly'

All the changes over the past two years on the Rockets' roster have some fans thinking the Rockets are on their way to another championship.
And that includes former Rocket and Hall of Famer Hakeem Olajuwon who is buying into the return of Clutch City, especially with the 'deadly' duo of Jeremy Lin and Dwight Howard leading the way.
"Just the little offense I saw, that combination is very deadly," Olajuwon told Fox 26 Houston. "You can see that both of them are very excited, seeing that, 'Wow, we bring the right ingredients together.'
"When you see players that are dedicated to succeed, it gives you that window to see what kind of season that we're looking for."
Olajuwon has worked with Howard in the past, and after working with him, along with Lin, last week in Colorado, his opinion on the Rockets' newest big man hasn't changed.
"Dwight can clearly dominate this league comfortably," Olajuwon said. "He has everything that he needs, and he has desire and work ethic to do it."
While some fans and experts thought Lin's time in Houston would be short-lived after failing to live up to lofty expectations set before the 2012-13 season, Olajuwon stressed the importance of having him on the team with him being counted on to lead other stars in James Harden and Chandler Parsons as well as Howard.
"To be on the right team, which he is right now, he can really help and play his role very well and be effective," Olajuwon said on Lin. "There's no pressure on him now. Its on Dwight and James. His position is crucial for the team's success, and he can play that role very well."
The Rockets have yet to take the court together officially, but fans will be getting a first look at Houston's new 'deadly duo' with the preseason just weeks away.
