DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) Pakistan offspinner Mohammad Hafeez can resume playing international cricket after a six-month absence because of an illegal bowling action.
The International Cricket Council says Hafeez's action is now legal after remedial work and reassessment at Loughborough University in England.
He was suspended from bowling for the third time in his career in November after being reported for an illegal action during the third test against Sri Lanka in Abu Dhabi. He also served suspensions on 2014 and '15.
The ICC said Tuesday that match officials will be provided with images and video footage of Hafeez's remodeled legal bowling action.
