The Memphis Grizzlies packed up their newfound confidence and defensive intensity and flew west Monday afternoon with a daunting agenda facing them on their first extended road trip of the season.
Four games in five nights, beginning with the defending champion Los Angeles Lakers Tuesday night at 9:30 pm CT (SportSouth).
The big question for the Grizzlies at the moment is whether or not Zach Randolph will play. An MRI revealed that his tailbone is indeed deeply bruised and not cracked as had been feared. The bruise is on his right side and, being a lefty, he jumps off his right foot, which aggravates the bruise.
