Outfielder Alex Gordon is one step closer to making his return to the Kansas City Royals' roster.

Gordon, who began his rehab assignment at Northwest Arkansas (AA), will have it transferred to Omaha (AAA) and will be in uniform for Omaha's home game against New Orleans Thursday.

Gordon has been on the disabled list since May 23 with a fractured right wrist.  He went 5-for-15 (.333) with a double, a homer and three runs scored in his four games at Northwest Arkansas.
