How's this for a party?
They've endured an 86-year streak without a World Series title. It included the Babe, Bucky, Boone and of course Buckner. In 2004, they Cowboy'd Up to become champs. They did it again against the Rockies in 2007.
This season was different, and exceedingly special. Following last year's 69-93 disaster, and the tragic events of the Boston Marathon, this team showed their resolve and character necessary to get all the way to the Fall Classic.

Of course when the Series went to a sixth game and the opportunity for the Sox to win it Beantown for the first time since 1918, it just seemed to fit.
