According to the Miami Herald, Gloria James has been arrested, allegedly for hitting a parking valet. I tend to be a self-parker, and don't have much experience with valets, but one assumes they prefer tips to being abused (allegedly). Here's the Herald's report:
According to Miami Beach police Det. Juan Sanchez, the Miami Heat
player's mother Gloria James is expected to be charged with misdemeanor
assault. James got into an altercation with a parking valet attendant about 4:57 a.m., RadarOnline.com reported.
As all coaches and managers in professional sports know, as well as most parents, there's not much good that happens at 4:57 a.m.
