Alabama kicker Cade Foster has received a lot of hate from the Crimson Tide faithful the past few weeks.

But one man bigger than Bear Bryant showed him some love.

Former President George W. Bush sent Foster a note following Alabama's stunning Iron Bowl loss.

"Dear Cade (#43), Life has its setbacks. I know! However you will be a stronger human with time. I wish you all the best – Sincerely – another 43 George Bush.”

Foster missed two fields goals and had another blocked in the top 5 showdown two weeks ago.

Those missed points proved costly at the end of regulation when Alabama decided to let redshirt freshman Adam Griffith attempt a 57-yarder.

The kick fell short and was returned by Auburn's Chris Davis for the game-winning touchdown.
