ARCADIA, Calif. (AP) Gender Agenda gained the lead in the last 50 yards and won the $100,000 Robert J. Frankel Stakes for fillies and mares by a neck Sunday at Santa Anita.

Ridden by Rafael Bejarano, Gender Agenda ran 1 1/8 miles on turf in 1:50.29 and paid $23.80, $10.40 and $6.80 at 10-1 odds.

Stormy Lucy returned $5.80 and $4.20 as the 4-1 second choice, while Glory was another nose back in third and paid $3.80 to show.

''I was afraid we were going to be too close to the lead, but when I saw the slow pace I knew we were okay,'' said Bejarano, who got his second of three wins on the card. ''Out of the gate, I let the favorite go and tried to force her to the lead. I just put us second and followed them.''
