The Florida men's basketball team is ranked 10th nationally in the preseason Associated Press poll, as released on Thursday.
The Gators were ranked eighth in the preseason Coaches Poll that was released on Oct. 17. Both polls feature five opponents Florida is slated to play this season including Kentucky, Kansas, Memphis, Connecticut and Wisconsin. Florida and Kentucky are the only SEC schools to be recognized in the preseason AP poll.
Florida is set to host Florida Southern in an exhibition game tomorrow, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. before tipping off the regular season on Nov. 8 against North Florida in the Stephen C. O'Connell Center.
