Fuel-pressure issues spoil Keselowski's day

FORT WORTH, Texas — Fuel-pressure issues put a damper on what started out to be a solid night for Brad Keselowski at Saturday's Samsung Mobile 500.
Keselowski, who started the race eighth and spent the first 100 laps running among the top five, went to the garage on Lap 156 because of the problem.
That trip cost Keselowski eight laps on the leaders but didn't signal the end of his troubles. He went to the garage again on Lap 212 as the No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge team replaced the fuel cell. Keselowski returned to the track again but was in 36th place and 21 laps down.
He was able to stay on the track after that but didn't pick up any ground and finished 36th, 22 laps down.
"I'm not exactly sure what happened to the Miller Lite Dodge," Keselowski said. "I could speculate, but we need to get it back to the show and check everything over. This has been a very frustrating weekend, to say the least."
The bad night was costly in the points too for Keselowski. He came to Texas 12th in points but will head to Kansas 15th in the standings.
Keselowski raced in the Nationwide Series race Friday night and finished 35th.
"I had two good race cars," he said. "Cars that could have contended for wins in both races and we have nothing to show for it. I've always said that you have to have raw speed before anything else in this sport. So it is encouraging that we are consistently fast no matter where we go. We just need to clean some things up so that the potential of this team can shine. Right now we aren't doing that."
