Florida State men's basketball assistant coach Corey Williams will be named the next coach at Stetson on Monday afternoon.
Williams, 43, has spent the past six seasons at Florida State, where he helped the Seminoles win the 2012 Atlantic Coast Conference title.
This is the first head coaching job for Williams, who also was previously an assistant at Oral Roberts.
Stetson found itself in the market for a coach two weeks ago when Casey Alexander informed school officials that he was leaving for Lipscomb. Alexander was 24-36 in two seasons at the school, but the Hatters were 11-7 in the Atlantic Sun this season.
