Two-time UFC champion Frank Mir is in San Diego this week to promote his heavyweight tilt against Todd Duffee on July 15 at the Valley View Casino Center.
While in town, Mir had the opportunity to show off his arm and throw out the first pitch for last night's Padres-Nationals game.
His form looks okay, and judging by the video, the submission specialist didn't have a problem getting the ball across the plate.
Before making his exit, Mir also took a few seconds to bond with fellow Las Vegan and MLB standout, Bryce Harper.
Mir is coming off a first-round finish of Antonio 'Bigfoot' Silva in Silva's home country of Brazil back in February. He is currently ranked 10th in the heavyweight division and hopes a strong victory against Duffee propels him into the title conversation.
