FOX Sports Wisconsin announces Badgers hockey television package
FOX Sports Wisconsin, in conjunction with the University of Wisconsin, Tuesday announced plans to televise 11 Badgers hockey games during the 2016-17 season, a slate of games that features nine men's matchups and two women's games.
FOX Sports Wisconsin kicks off its college hockey coverage on Friday, Oct. 14, as the men's team hosts Boston College.
The television package features seven Badgers home games and four away games.
For the first time, the regional sports network will highlight the top-ranked Badgers women's hockey program in games against the University of Minnesota on Sunday, Dec. 4, and St. Cloud State on Saturday, Jan. 14. The the men's broadcast schedule also includes four games against conference rival Minnesota.
Six of the games will be broadcast on FOX Sports Wisconsin PLUS.
All games televised on FOX Sports Wisconsin also will be streamed live on FOX Sports GO.
FOX Sports GO is available to customers of participating pay-TV providers on iOS, Android, Fire tablets and Fire phones, Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, Apple TV, Roku, Chromecast, Windows devices and online at FOXSportsGO.com.
Fans can download the mobile app for free from the iTunes App Store, Google Play, Amazon App Store and Windows Store.
To stream games, users will need to verify credentials by signing in with their pay-TV provider's user ID and password.
There is no additional charge to use FOX Sports GO.
