1. (1) Mater Dei (4-0)

We thought Upland could give the Monarchs a bit of a test but this Mater Dei passing offense could be the best we've seen in a long time.

2. (2) Corona Centennial (3-1)

We've said it a number of times but the Huskies offense can score on anyone and put up 48 points against a solid Notre Dame team.

3. (3) St. John Bosco (3-1)

The Braves played angry and blew out Crespi 56-7. Next up is Stockton (Calif.) St. Mary's, one of the top teams in the NorCal section.

4. (4) Mission Viejo (4-0)

The Diablos were tested for a half against LB Poly but pulled away with a dominant fourth quarter to win 42-14. Two-way standout Collin Schooler was the star of stars in this one.

5. (6) Rancho Cucamonga (4-0) (at Citrus Hill, 7p, Prep Zone)

The Cougars broke open a tight game against formerly Top-20 ranked Murrieta Valley with a big second half to win 41-20. We knew the offense would be good but the Rancho defense has really stepped up this season.

6. (9) Chaminade (3-1) (vs. Serra, 7:30p, Prime Ticket)

Eagles had a nice win over an always tough Bakersfield team, rated No. 2 in the Central section. A big rivalry game with Serra this weekend should be a fun one.

7. (8) Oaks Christian (3-1) (vs. Murrieta Valley, 7p, Prep Zone)

Oaks went to triple OT to beat Alemany 63-62. It doesn't get much easier with Murrieta Valley coming to town this week.

8. (17) Bishop Amat (3-1)

The Lancers had a forfeit win over St. Paul but still moved way up the rankings thanks to JSerra's win over Vista Murrieta. The Lancers beat JSerra just two weeks ago 35-28.

9. (18) JSerra (3-1)

The Lions had the biggest win in the Southern Section this year knocking out previous No. 5 ranked Vista Murrieta 28-14. No one has played a tougher non-league schedule with the exception of La Mirada making that 3-1 record even more impressive.

10. (10) Calabasas (4-0)

All of of the Coyotes talented playmakers showed why they're so highly thought of as quarterback Tristan Gebbia, wide out Keyshawn Johnson Jr. and athletes Darnay Holmes and Bookie Radley made big plays in Calabasas' 47-28 win over Pacifica.

The Next 10:

11. (5) Vista Murrieta (3-1)

12. (7) Long Beach Poly (1-2)

13. (15) Santa Margarita (3-1)
