FOX Sports Tennessee, Predators announce TV schedule

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The National Hockey League’s Nashville Predators and the team’s exclusive regional television partner FOX Sports Tennessee today announced that FOX Sports Tennessee and sister station SportSouth will televise 70 Nashville Predators regular-season games during the 2013-14 NHL season, surpassing the franchise record 68 games set in 2011-12. Of the 70 games, 65 will be carried on FOX Sports Tennessee, while five will be carried on SportSouth. All games will be televised in HD.
FOX Sports Tennessee’s coverage begins with the Predators’ regular-season opener on Oct. 3 against the St. Louis Blues (7:00 p.m. CT). Other highlights from the 2013-14 FOX Sports Tennessee telecast schedule include four games against the Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks and two games against the former Central Division-rival Detroit Red Wings. The FOX Sports Tennessee broadcast duo of play-by-play announcer Pete Weber and analyst Terry Crisp enter their 16th season calling Predators’ action. Mark Howard enters his sixth season with the broadcast team, this year serving as on-air host for all Predators home games on FOX Sports Tennessee. Stu Grimson joins the broadcast in a new capacity this season as well, serving as rink-side reporter for all televised home games. In addition to game telecasts, the entire broadcast team will take part in Predators LIVE, an extended post-game coverage show after every game on FOX Sports Tennessee. Predators players and personnel will also be featured in FOX Sports Tennessee original programs such as Predators Snapshot.
The Predators’ telecasts reach cable and satellite households across Tennessee, Kentucky and portions of Alabama and Mississippi. Additionally, a number of Nashville Predators games will be broadcast in the Atlanta market and throughout Georgia (check local listings).
