FOX Sports North podcast: Draft recap, free agency and the All-Star Game

MINNEAPOLIS -- It's a free agent frenzy in the Twin Cities, with the Timberwolves and Wild set to add to their rosters starting Tuesday, July 1.
Or is it?
As FOXSportsNorth.com's Tyler Mason, Brian Hall and Phil Ervin discuss on the latest FOX Sports North Podcast, the Twin Cities' NBA team is strapped for cash and thus won't be as busy during this year's NBA moratorium July 1-9, during which teams and players can agree to terms before making them official. Kevin Love is still with the franchise, though, so coach and president of basketball operations Flip Saunders won't exactly be sitting out on the lake all of July, either.
The NHL's free-agent signing period begins Tuesday at 11 a.m., and the Wild are expected to be a bit more active than their basketball brethren. Among the names they're targeting are Thomas Vanek, Matt Niskanen and perhaps even Jarome Iginla. Hall, FOXSportsNorth.com's Wild beat writer, gives a full breakdown of Minnesota's free agency plans.
For the first time in the podcast's storied month and-a-half history, the guys record from pristine Target Field, where preparations are already being made for the 2014 MLB All-Star Game. All three weigh in on that event as well as the Twins' recent slide back to the bottom of the American League's Central Division.
