FOX Sports Detroit to televise Detroit Red Wings' arena ceremony Thursday
FOX Sports Detroit will televise the groundbreaking ceremony for the Detroit Red Wings new arena, titled "The Launch," on Thursday, Sept. 25 beginning at 1:30 p.m. The hour-long coverage will also stream live on foxsportsdetroit.com.
The Launch will replay at 5 pm on Thursday as well as 8 am on Friday, Sept. 26.

"The Ilitch family's commitment to the Red Wings and Detroit continues to inspire us to bring our best effort each and every night."
The Detroit Red Wings Season Preview debuts this Saturday, Sept. 27 at 5 p.m. FOX Sports Detroit will broadcast three preseason games, including Sept. 29 vs. Toronto, Oct. 1 vs. Pittsburgh and Oct. 3 at Toronto. Regular-season coverage begins Oct. 9 with the home opener against the Boston Bruins.
