South Africa, reduced to 14 men for the last 10 minutes, won their first ever Test at Dunedin's Carisbrook Stadium when they edged New Zealand 30-28 in a thrilling Tri-Nations match at the House of Pain on Saturday.
It was a brilliant Ricky Januarie try, after captain Victor Matfield had been yellow carded for a high tackle, and a sweetly struck Francois Steyn conversion that saw the Boks come back from 23-28 down to sneak the victory.
The win, the first Springbok victory in New Zealand since 1998, has set up the Boks nicely in the tournament, with just one more away game and three home matches to come.
