Former TCU players sentenced to probation

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) -- Three former TCU football players who were among more than a dozen students arrested during a drug sting have been sentenced to probation on marijuana delivery charges.
Melody McDonald, a spokeswoman for Tarrant County prosecutors, says 21-year-old David Yendry pleaded guilty last week and was sentenced to three years of probation and fined $300.
Tanner Brock and Tyler Horn, both 21, pleaded guilty to the same charges last month. Brock received four years' probation and was fined $1,200. Horn was sentenced to three years' probation and was fined $300.
McDonald says the convictions will be cleared from their records if they complete probation. The three were arrested in February after a six-month investigation by Fort Worth police.
