Former Magic stars receive different receptions in Orlando homecoming

It was a homecoming of sorts for two former Magic players Thursday night at the Amway Center, and while one offered another bittersweet glimpse at what could have been, the other gave Orlando fans plenty of reason to be happy about what never came to be.

Now teammates in Phoenix, Grant Hill and Hedo Turkoglu both left Orlando with very different legacies.

Hill signed a 6-year, $93 million contract with the Magic (along with Tracy McGrady) in the summer of 2000, and brought with him the promise of championship contention, but ankle injuries derailed those aspirations and forced Hill to miss 292 of the team
