Former Boise State standout DE Ukwuachu joining Baylor

Defensive end Sam Ukwuachu, who was a freshman All-American at Boise State last year, has enrolled at Baylor.
Ukwuachu, who will sit out the 2013 season and have two seasons of eligibility remaining, played in 13 games during his redshirt season for the Broncos last year. He had 35 tackles, 4.5 sacks and seven tackles for loss. The 6-foot-4, 222-pounder also had three fumble recoveries.
He was dismissed from the Boise State team this spring for undisclosed violations of team rules, the Idaho Statesman reported.
Ukwuachu played for three years at Pearland High School in Pearland, Texas. He helped lead the team to the 5A Division I state championship in 2010. He was a second-team all-state selection as a junior and season.
Coming out of high school, he was the 40th-best defensive end recruit in the country, according to Scout.com.
