UD Arena featured two of the premier teams in the Atlantic 10 Conference Tuesday night when the Dayton Flyers played host to the Richmond Spiders.
Dayton entered the game with a 15-5 record overall and 3-2 in Atlantic 10 play. But coming off their biggest victory of the season, a 91-57 home victory against Fordham this past Saturday, the Flyers came in with some serious momentum.
Not to spite the Richmond team though who entered play with the same 15-5 record and 4-1 in the A-10. The Spiders biggest win of the season is undoubtedly their 11-point victory over the Purdue Boilermakers back on November 27th.
The two teams stand back to back in the national RPI rankings which rate the Richmond Spiders at 64 and the Dayton Flyers at 65. Tonight
