GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- Florida coach Urban Meyer says the NCAA has granted Florida cornerback Moses Jenkins a fifth year of eligibility.

Jenkins received a medical hardship waiver for the 2009 season after missing the final 10 games because of a concussion.

Jenkins made his first career start in the opener against Miami (Ohio) but injured his wrist and missed the next seven games. He returned to the field against Vanderbilt last Saturday.

Jenkins played in seven games as a freshman in 2007 and in 13 games as a sophomore in 2008 on special teams and in spot duty on defense. Jenkins has 24 tackles and one sack in his career.
