Five-star recruit Bragg heads to Kentucky for Big Blue Madness event

BEREA, Ohio - What's probably the final leg of Carlton Bragg's recruiting tour hits Lexington tonight for Kentucky's annual Big Blue Madness event.
Bragg, a 6'9, five-star forward from Cleveland Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School, visited Kansas last week.
"It was crazy at Kansas, a great experience," Bragg said. "I didn't want to leave."
"It was not what I expected. I expected a place out in the middle of nowhere, nothing around. But it wasn't like that. It was a great experience. It's a basketball school."
At Rupp Arena tonight, Bragg said he expects to see a scene "even crazier. I'm looking forward to seeing the atmosphere. I can't wait. I'm so excited."
Bragg will take an official visit to UCLA in two weeks. The other school on his list is Illinois; though Bragg has visited there unofficially, no official visit is set up.
Bragg said he's "not close" to a decision and hinted that may be a change from his recent thinking.
"I was thinking I had a decision," Bragg said. "Another school picked it up. I don't know."
"This is going to be a hard decision. I didn't expect it to be this hard."
Bragg plays alongside Northwestern commit Derek Pardon and Marist commit Brian Parker at VASJ, which returns all five starters this season. He said he's expecting to make a college decision during the high school season.
"It's just those four schools, so in a way that relieves pressure," Bragg said. "I'm not getting as many phone calls, as many people telling me to go to Ohio State or go to Kentucky or whatever. It's been a long process. It's not easy."
"I want to decide not early, but not too late. These schools have to keep recruiting people, so I don't want someone to give up my spot. But it's a hard decision, and I don't want to rush it."
