Five-star linebacker transferring from Ohio State to Texas Tech

Some experts have said it's too difficult to recruit blue chip prospects to the South Plains at Texas Tech.
Red Raiders head coach Kliff Kingsbury continues to prove that's no longer the case.
Not only is he getting some of the state's top offensive players, but Kingsbury is starting to lure some impressive defensive talent.
The 6-foot-4, 225-pounder was one of the biggest prizes from the Buckeyes' top-ranked 2013 recruiting class.
Good to meet LB Mike Mitchell, top committed recruit to #TexasTech. Great football player and young man. #WreckEm pic.twitter.com/n6IhUuxvqa

Mitchell must sit out the 2014 season per NCAA rules, but he could be granted a hardship waiver and be eligible to play immediately.
Kingsbury also got big verbal commitments this spring from four-star defensive tackle Breiden Fehoko and one of the nation's top dual-threat quarterbacks Jarrett Stidham.
