The Florida Gators host the South Carolina Gamecocks Saturday night with the winner taking the SEC Eastern Division title and earning a spot in the SEC Championship game in Atlanta on December 4th. But there seems to be little doubt that the Gators will be making that trip and there are five key reasons why.
Momentum --- Florida had its slump in October dropping three consecutive games, but two of those were extremely close contests. South Carolina on the other hand is coming off a 41-20 drubbing at the hands of Arkansas that was much more one-sided than the score might indicate. Carolina was down 41-10 before adding 10 meaningless points in the final 5:35 of play.
