First "Come Home, LeBron" t-shirt giveaway is a success

LeBron James was showered with some cheers, but mostly boos, when he was introduced before Wednesday night's game in Cleveland.
In a sellout crowd of 20,000 Cavaliers fans, it was easy to spot those who cheered on "The Chosen One," sporting their lime-green "Come Home, LeBron" t-shirts.
Raggi told FOX Sports Ohio that the social media efforts helped spread the word about the t-shirt giveaway.
"Half of the people told us 'we heard about you' or 'we found you'", Raggi said. "The other half were fans that wanted to know what was going on and most of them liked the idea and took a shirt."
As for the inevitable "haters," they weren't as vocal in person as they've been on social media.
"There was very little negative reaction," Raggi said, adding that there were no incidents of abusive language or physical altercations to report.
"I think we had about six or seven people who didn't like the idea, so that was exciting."
(Apparently the guy who burned LeBron's jersey on the night of "The Decision" has yet to find out about the campaign.)
As expected, most of adversity has been through comments made on Twitter, which Raggi says are mainly pride-related or nonsensical and aren't worth entertaining.
"Once you hear, 'We hate him' or 'He is an idiot,' there isn't much more depth to the conversation."
The "Come Home, LeBron" campaign is planning more t-shirt giveaways in the future.
