Fantasy Football Week 9 best and worst performances #PlayFor22

The best performance of the weekend was #PlayFor22
For more on Lauren Hill’s fight, be sure to read this FOXSports.com article.
Here's how to help Lauren's cause:
Ben Roethlisberger - 47.7 fantasy points
Jeremy Hill – 29 fantasy points (PPR)
With Gio Bernard out due to a hip injury, Hill was the next man up in the Bengals’ backfield. However, in the midst of racking up 154 rushing yards on 24 carries with two touchdown, Hill was knocked out of the game for a minute with his own knee injury. He only missed one series heading into halftime. Hill’s fantasy performance hit another gear when he ripped off a 60-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter – 12 fantasy points on one play.
Percy Harvin – 24.7 fantasy points (PPR)
For the fifth time in his career, Harvin finished with 10-or-more receptions in a game. He and Mike Vick played catch most of Sunday as the Jets trailed the Chiefs 14-0 after the first quarter. Harvin finished with 11 receptions on 13 targets for 129 yards. He’s still searching for his first receiving touchdown since 2012.
Jets Fantasy Notes: Vick targeted Eric Decker 12 times and Chris Ivory finished with eight carries for 22 yards, while Chris Johnson finished with a season-high 69 rushing yards.
Mark Ingram – 24 fantasy points (PPR)
For the first time since 2004, when the Deuce (McAllister) was loose, a Saints running back rushed 30 times in a game. Ingram rushed 30 times for 100 yards with two touchdowns against the Panthers in a sloppy Thursday night contest. He’s now eclipsed last year’s production on the ground with 431 rushing yards (4.9 YPR) and set a single-season best with six rushing touchdowns in five games.
Allen Hurns – 30.2 fantasy points (PPR)
Despite looking like a slender version of rapper 50 Cent, Hurns has been relatively silent since his Week 1, first-half fantasy football barrage against the Eagles. Hurns lit up Philly’s secondary for 110 yards with two touchdowns in the first half then. Since that game, he’s only mustered 244 yards in seven games or approximately 35 receiving yards per game. Hurns benefited from poor Bengals pass coverage on his two touchdowns, but the seven receptions for 112 yards with the two scores still count in the fantasy world. He also led all receivers in targets with nine.
Denard Robinson – 18.4 fantasy points (PPR)
“Shoelace” now has three straight games with over 100 total yards. After posting 17 carries for 94 yards with a touchdown and chipping in 10 receiving yards, Robinson is averaging 19 carries for 110 yards with two touchdowns over the last three games.
Matt Asiata – 29.7 fantasy points (PPR)
The new-age vulture can be found in Minnesota. Asiata only carried the ball 10 times, but scored three times from inside the 10 yard line (runs of 1, 7 and 1 with a two-point conversion). They were the first scores for Asiata in over a month. He does, however, remain active in the receiving game as he finished with four receptions for 31 yards against the Redskins.
Harvin's 129 receiving yards were the most by a Jets WR since Santonio Holmes last year vs. Bills (154). #nyj

Philip Rivers (-2.2 fantasy points)
The first San Diego Chargers fumble of the season was lost by Philip Rivers. It was one of four Rivers’ turnovers in Week 9. He may also be the first fantasy football dud this season to finish a game with negative fantasy points. Those quarterbacks who outscored Rivers were:
- Kellen Clemens (SD back-up) with 0.4 FP
- Matt Moore (MIA back-up) with 0.8 FP
- Matt Simms (NYJ back-up) with 1.8 FP
- Brandon Weeden (DAL back-up) with 9.5
We can’t complain too much as Rivers ranked QB7 at 25.9 fantasy points per game over the last four weeks heading into Week 9.
Chris Ivory – 2.2 fantasy points
Ivory’s eight carries against the Chiefs tie a season-low for rush attempts in a game. To reiterate, Chris Johnson finished with a season-high 69 rushing yards. It’s hard to read too much into this one performance as the Chiefs built that early 14-0 lead and Vick was forced to pass a bunch the final three quarters.
Pierre Garcon – 4.5 fantasy points
Robert Griffin returned and Garcon remained the third fiddle in the offense. On a day where Alfred Morris looked more like himself (109 total yards with 2 TDs) and DeSean Jackson continues to grow within Gruden’s offense, Garcon finished with three receptions (five targets) for 15 yards.
Kelvin Benjamin – 3.8 fantasy points
Cordarelle Patterson – 1.9 fantasy points
Some owners want it / need it / pray it will happen sooner rather than later. Patterson just isn’t what they had hoped he would be. Glimmers of what can be have surfaced in recent weeks, but one reception on seven targets says more about Teddy Bridgewater’s needed development than Patterson’s ability and, in turn, CURRENT fantasy value. It may not be until 2015 for C-Patt’s fantasy benevolence to appear on a weekly basis.
Zero in 25 quarters.
After scoring 12 touchdowns his first two seasons with Seahawks, Carlson only has three scores since 2010. The third touchdown over the past four seasons coming today against the Cowboys.
