ARCADIA, Calif. (AP) Fantastic Style held off late-closing Majestic Presence to win the $58,000 Bean Bag purse by a head Thursday at Santa Anita for Hall of Fame trainer Bob Baffert.
Ridden by Martin Garcia, Fantastic Style ran 6 1/2 furlongs in 1:16.23 and paid $3, $2.10 and $2.10 as the 1-2 favorite in a field of six 2-year-old fillies.
Majestic Presence returned $2.80 and $2.20, while Lady Lake was another 2 1/4 lengths back in third and paid $3 to show.
The victory, worth $34,800, increased Fantastic Style's career earnings to $79,600, with two wins in three starts.
