Now that we've figured out who is actually drafting at No. 6, the Cleveland Browns are on the clock. Once again, the Browns have a new head coach and are trying to right a ship after a subpar season. However, the good news is that things can’t get much for worse for new coach Rob Chudzinski, who is taking over a 5-11 team that finished dead last in the AFC North. So which need do the Browns address first in the NFL Draft? They have holes everywhere, so they can go in a number of directions with their No. 6 pick. Cornerback, linebacker, wide receiver … even possibly at quarterback. There’s nowhere to go but up. BYU DE Ezekiel Ansah
We could have a winner here. Although the Browns did sign Ravens linebacker Paul Kruger to a five-year deal this offseason, it’s hard to imagine that Kruger possesses the upside that Ansah has. True, “Ziggy” is still a raw prospect and is one of those dreaded “workout warriors,” but his talent and potential can’t be denied. Ansah could end up being the steal of the draft, even at No. 6. Georgia LB Jarvis Jones
Much like Ansah, Jones can step and be an immediate pass-rushing beast for the Browns. Once again, the Browns will have to take a risk with Jones, whose medical history could cause more than a few NFL teams to pass on him. Just judging from his game tape at Georgia, Jones looks just fine. You can’t accomplish great things without gambling a little bit and the Browns should roll the dice on this prospect. Yes, they just drafted Brandon Weeden in the first round last year. Yes, Weeden hasn’t been given much of a chance to prove himself. However, the Browns need to ask themselves if the second-year man is really the long-term answer at quarterback. If the answer is no, Smith could be a tasty option. If the Browns grab him at this spot, Smith could grow along with first-year head coach Rob Chudzinski. Smith can make all the NFL throws and has all the physical tools to play in the league. Surprisingly enough, Floyd is available to the Browns at No. 6. Many mock drafts have him going within the top three picks, but here he is. The Browns do have some depth along their defensive line, but could always use more. If Floyd is the top player left on their big board, they just might pull the trigger on the three-technique defensive tackle. Floyd has good size (6-3, 297 pounds) and speed (4.87 seconds in the 40) to make an immediate impact. Florida State CB Xavier Rhodes
The Browns have an obvious need at cornerback and Rhodes could be a Day 1 starter opposite Joe Haden. Rhodes has good size (6-2, 210 pounds) and excellent speed (4.39 seconds in the 40). He was a three-year starter for the Seminoles and was a first-team All-ACC selection. The sixth spot might be a bit high for Rhodes, but there’s no denying his talent.
