Beloved Texas mascot Bevo missed this year’s Red River Showdown due to what is being called a life-threatening illness. His presence was missed by Texas fans in Dallas, but one Longhorns fan brought a substitute. Megan Grigsby dressed up her dog Zora as Bevo, with longhorns and all.

We hope Bevo makes a full recovery, but we’re sure all UT fans appreciate the effort from Zora here. With the win, we wouldn’t be surprised if the family gets invited to Austin for the next game iin two weeks.
