* At home against the Rams in Week 6, the Texans dropped their fourth straight game, 38-13. Houston committed four turnovers, leading to 17 St. Louis points, and produced no takeaways for the fourth time in the last five games. In a disastrous third quarter, the Texans were outscored 21-0, yielded two touchdowns in a six-second span, and lost starting QB Matt Schaub (15-for-21, 186 yards) to a leg injury. Arian Foster compiled 198 scrimmage yards, and Ben Tate scored Houston's lone TD on a one-yard run.
* The Chiefs extended their start to 6-0 with a 24-7 home win over the Raiders in Week 6. Kansas City gained only 216 total yards, but limited the Raiders to 274 yards and recorded nine sacks and three interceptions of Terrelle Pryor; the nine sacks are most of any team in a single game this season. Jamaal Charles rushed for a pair of touchdowns for the Chiefs, and Husain Abdullah returned an interception 44 yards for the team's final TD.
* Houston and KC have played only once since 2008, and have met only once previously at Kansas City, with the Texans claiming a 24-21 win at Arrowhead on September 26, 2004. Houston has won the last two games between the teams, both at home: 20-3 in 2007, and 35-31 in 2010. In that most recent meeting, Houston scored two touchdowns in the final three and a half minutes to erase a 10-point deficit.
* Houston quarterbacks Matt Schaub and T.J. Yates have combined to have five interceptions returned for touchdowns in 2013; all other NFL teams have yielded 20 interception return TDs between them.
* Arian Foster ranks third in the NFL with 714 scrimmage yards, and Andre Johnson has an NFL-high 44 receptions, but Foster and Johnson have only two touchdowns between them.
* Charles has accounted for 39.6 percent of the Chiefs' scrimmage yards in 2013, the highest such percentage in the league. Charles has already matched his 2012 total with five rushing touchdowns, and his 300 receiving yards have topped his total of a season ago.
* The Chiefs lead the NFL with 18 takeaways and a plus-12 turnover differential; they have three or more takeaways in four straight games. The Texans have 15 giveaways, tied for second most in the NFL, and have the league's second-worst turnover differential at minus-12.
