Facts and figures on Rams-Texans matchup

* St. Louis earned its second win of the season last week with a 34-20 home victory over the Jaguars. It was a season high in points scored and season low in points allowed for the Rams, who had given up 31 or more in each game of a three-game losing skid.
* The Texans' 34-3 loss in San Francisco Sunday night was their third straight defeat after opening the season 2-0. Houston's three points scored were its fewest since a 16-3 loss at Tampa Bay in December 2003, while the 31-point deficit was its largest since a 40-7 setback at New England in December 2006.
* Houston and St. Louis have met just twice previously, each winning on the road. The Rams won 33-27 (OT) in Houston in 2005, while the Texans took a 16-13 victory in St. Louis in 2009. Andre Johnson had 21 catches for 355 yards and a touchdown in the two games combined.
* Matt Schaub is the first quarterback in NFL history to have an interception returned for a touchdown in four straight games, after the 49ers' Tramaine Brock did the honors in the first quarter Sunday. Schaub finished Sunday's game with a career-high-tying three interceptions (also Week 3, 2008 at Titans), and his nine picks for the year are tied for second most in the league.
* In contrast to Schaub, Sam Bradford has posted a career-best 10/3 touchdown-interception ratio in 2013, and hasn't thrown more than one interception in any of his last 18 starts -- the longest active streak of its kind in the NFL.
* Despite its 2-3 record, Houston has outgained all five opponents this season, by an average of 130.6 yards per game -- easily the largest differential in the NFL.
