Baron Davis is one of L.A.'s sons. He's a native of the city and attended Crossroads High School in Santa Monica before going to UCLA.

He’s constantly giving back to the community through his Rising Stars of America Foundation. Just last summer he held his third annual All-Star Kickball Game at UCLA's Jackie Robinson Stadium.

He has a camp scheduled for next month.

However, the last week or so has been kind of rough for the former NBA All-Star. Just last week, he claimed he was abducted by aliens.

On Thursday, while preparing for a comeback to the court, he was shut out ... from his own high school. Davis tweeted:

Thankfully for Davis, he was able to find a gym to work out in, at nearby Palisades High School in Los Angeles.

Davis
missed all of the 2012-13 season after tearing his ACL and MCL and suffering a
partial tear of his patella tendon during the 2012 playoffs as a member of the
Knicks. He's eyeing a comeback for the 2013-14 season.
