Ex-Titans LB Bulluck arrested on felony robbery charge

Former Titans linebacker Keith Bulluck was arrested Sunday and charged with felony robbery for allegedly taking money from a cab driver in Nashville.
According to a release from the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, the driver told police a man had given him money to wait outside a bar, when Bulluck allegedly reached through the open passenger window, grabbed the driver and took a $100 bill out of his hands. The driver also said Bulluck hit him during the confrontation.
The driver led police to a parking lot, where Bulluck was found with two $100 bills on him, one of which was taken by the police as evidence. A police release states that Bulluck smelled of alcohol.
Bulluck released a statement regarding the situation: "I was out with friends last night in Nashville and was taking a cab home. There was a misunderstanding between me and the cab driver about getting my money back for a service not rendered. At 2 a.m., things could easily get lost in translation, but regardless of who was right or wrong, I regret putting myself in that situation."
Bulluck, who was charged with a Class C felony, was booked around 4:30 a.m. local time and has since been released on $10,000 bond. The case report shows he is scheduled to appear in a Davidson County courtroom Sept. 26.
Approached by NewsChannel 5 when he left the jail, Bulluck asked a reporter "I've been here for 10 years and this is what you want to talk about?"
Hours before his arrest, Bulluck was part of the Titans broadcast team for Saturday night's preseason game against the Falcons.
A first-round draft pick in 2000, he spent 10 of his 11 seasons in the NFL with Tennessee, last playing in 2010.
