MADISON, Wis. (AP) Former Olympian and University of Wisconsin track star Suzy Favor Hamilton says she plans to publish a memoir next month that will touch on mental health issues that she says drove her to become a call girl.

Favor Hamilton told her Twitter followers Wednesday that the book, entitled ''Fast Girl,'' will go on sale Sept. 14. She tweeted that she can't wait to share her story.

A blurb on publisher HarperCollins' website says the book will discuss Favor Hamilton's manic depression and bipolar disorder and how medication made her hypersexual, leading her to secretly become a high-end Las Vegas escort known as Kelly.

It also says the book will recount how Favor Hamilton contemplated suicide after word of her secret life got out.
