ARCADIA, Calif. (AP) Bobbi Grace won the $58,000 feature for 3-year-old fillies by 1 1/4 lengths Friday at Santa Anita.
Ridden by Hall of Famer Gary Stevens, Bobbi Grace ran 6 1/2 furlongs on the hillside turf course in 1:13.66 and paid $4, $2.80 and $2.40 as the even-money favorite in a field of 10.
Sea Mona returned $4.20 and $3.40, while Pankhurst was another 3 1/4 lengths back in third and paid $4.20 to show.
The victory, worth $34,800, increased Bobbi Grace's career earnings to $62,074, with two wins in five starts. It was her first U.S. win in three tries.
