E.J. Manuel flashes confidence in scoring drive before half

By Ross Jones, FOXSports.com E.J. Manuel has heard the naysayers heading into his rookie season, but had a chance to silence them in the first half against the New England Patriots. Manuel, who spent the last few weeks recovering from a minor knee procedure, looked sharp on the final series before halftime, throwing an 18-yard touchdown to rookie wide receiver Robert Woods. The Bills rookie quarterback showed some intensity on the sideline after the score waking the Buffalo faithful. Manuel finished the first half 10 of 15 for 77 yards and a TD and the praise on Twitter began to flood:
