Ducks announce 2013 regular season schedule

ANAHEIM, Calif.
The NHL on Saturday announced the regular season schedule for 48-game
2012-13 NHL campaign. The Anaheim Ducks will embark on a two-game road
trip to the Pacific Northwest, kicking off the season in Vancouver next
Saturday, Jan. 19, followed by a contest on Monday, Jan. 21 at Calgary.
The club then returns to Southern California to open its schedule at
Honda Center with back-to-back contests, vs. Vancouver on Friday, Jan.
25 (7:05 p.m.) and Nashville on Saturday, Jan. 26 (7:35 p.m.). The
club’s 48-game, 99-day race to the Stanley Cup Playoffs concludes on
Saturday, Apr. 27, which serves as the regular season finale vs. the
Phoenix Coyotes (7:05 p.m.).

All of Anaheim’s 48
games in 2012-13 will take place against Western Conference opponents.
The club will play Pacific Division opponents four or five times, while
battling Central and Northwest Division foes three times each. 
Within the Pacific Division, the Ducks will play San Jose and Dallas
five times and face Los Angeles and Phoenix four times
each.

Highlighted games at Honda Center include two
contests vs. Southern California rival Los Angeles on Saturday, Feb. 2
(7:05 p.m.) and Sunday, Apr. 7 (6:05 p.m.), plus a two-game home series
vs. Detroit on Mar. 22 and 24. The club will also continue their
California rivalry against the San Jose Sharks on Monday, Feb. 4,
Monday, Mar. 18 and Monday, Mar. 25 (all 7:05 p.m.). Of Anaheim’s 24
home contests, 13 will take place on weekend dates (six Fridays, three
Saturdays and four Sundays). The longest stretches at Honda Center are
two five-game homestands from Mar. 18-27 and Apr. 3-10. March will serve
as the busiest month of the season at Honda Center with nine games
scheduled. In addition, there are two home games slated for January, six
for February and seven for April.

In all, Anaheim
will compete in 10 back-to-back sets of games in 2012-13. The club will
take a season-long six-game road trip from Feb. 6-16, which includes
stops in Colorado (Feb. 6), Dallas (Feb. 8), St. Louis (Feb. 9), Chicago
(Feb. 12), Detroit (Feb. 15) and Nashville (Feb.
16).

Individual regular season tickets for all Ducks
games at Honda Center will go on sale Tuesday, Jan. 15 at 10 a.m. As a
special promotion for Opening Night vs. Vancouver on Jan. 25, fans that
purchase an individual game ticket will receive a voucher good for 50%
off a future game on the 2012-13 schedule at Honda Center (excludes
Terrace Value price point). Fans can secure seats now by becoming a
