The ACC Gridiron LIVE Greatest Player Tournament is down two of its top seeds. Could more follow as we turn our attention to the second batch of first-round matchups?
Georgia Tech's Joe Hamilton, the third seed in the offense's John Heisman Region, was ousted by 14th-seed Sammy Watkins (Clemson), while in the defense's Frank Howard Region, No. 4 seed Julius Peppers (North Carolina) was knocked out by No. 13 seed Peter Boulware (Florida State).

We now begin voting for the next 16 opening-round matchups, highlighted by Pitt's Aaron Donald (No. 8) facing Florida State's Bjorn Werner (No. 9) in the defense's Bobby Dodd Region, while the Yellow Jackets' Calvin Johnson (No. 5) meets Wake Forest's Brian Piccolo (No. 12).
Also in action this week are No. 1 seed Chris Weinke (Florida State), who is facing No. 16 Herman Moore (Virginia) and top-seeded Lawrence Taylor (North Carolina) takes on No. 16 Kenny Phillips (Miami). Meanwhile, No. 2 seed C.J. Spiller (Clemson) meets No. 15 Sebastian Janikowski (Florida State) and second-seeded William Perry (Clemson) gets No. 15 Darnell Dockett (Florida State).
Seminoles QB Jameis Winston, the only active player in the bracket and carrying a No. 10 seed, takes on NC State's Ted Brown (No. 7).
