Doc on Hawes' Christmas outfit: 'That's what distracted Curry and Thompson'

Spencer Hawes' Christmas game suit was so wild it's still being discussed.
His red-white-and-green-trees ensemble went viral, and if you're not playing, you might as well look good. Err, different.
"No chance he wears that suit again either," Doc Rivers said before Saturday's game against Toronto. "I thought that was courageous."
Hawes apparently bought the suit on a Web site for $110. Rivers didn't think he'd sport the suit for the game.
"Guts, courageous all of the above," Rivers used to describe Hawes' fashion statement. "My gosh. I didn't think he'd do it. We knew he was going to wear it before but no one thought he would (for the game). He had another outfit. We thought he would change and not wear that during the game. I think that's what distracted (Stephen) Curry and (Klay) Thompson."
Hawes looks like he's headed back to wearing his uniform soon. Hawes, who is out with a knee injury, played 3-on-3 at the Clippers' practice facility in Playa Vista on Friday. He was scheduled to play one-on-one, but Rivers joked that everyone had a lot of family in town for Christmas, so more players came in to the facility.
Hawes watched Saturday's Clippers game against Toronto from the locker room, so his followup outfit wasn't on display.
