Glad Dirk Nowitzki has a good sense of humor about losing out on the Dwight Howard sweepstakes.
The Mavs' All-Star sent out a tweet to his nearly 900,000 twitter followers expressing his excitement over acquiring DH.
Turns out, Nowitzki was officially announcing that free-agent guard Devin Harris was joining the Mavs. Pretty good joke coming from the veteran, though we should expect nothing less from the man who uses his Simpson's character as his Twitter avatar.
Harris started his career in Dallas in 2004 and participated in the 2006 NBA Finals before being traded for Jason Kidd in 2008. Last season, Harris averaged 9.9 points and 3.4 assists with the Hawks. His contract with the Mavs is reportedly for three years and $9 million.
