Diamondbacks to open 2015 season at home vs. Giants

PHOENIX -- The Diamondbacks will open the 2015 season at Chase Field against the San Francisco Giants, as part of a six-game season-opening home stand, and will close the season with six game at home.

The D-backs also will play at home on several key holidays. Fans can celebrate several summer holidays with the D-backs with home games set for Mother's Day (May 10), Father's Day (June 21), Fourth of July and Labor Day (Sept. 7).

The D-backs' 18th season will open against the Giants on Monday, April 6 at 6:40 p.m. at Chase Field, followed by a three-game set against the Los Angeles Dodgers for the first weekend series of the season.

Interleague play will consist of four home matchups against the Los Angeles Angels, Houston Astros, Oakland Athletics and Texas Rangers. The D-backs will hit the road for games in Anaheim, Houston, Seattle and Texas (Rangers), playing a total of 17 games against the American League.

The D-backs will close the 2015 regular season at Chase Field for the 12th time in franchise history with a three-game series against the Astros and 22 of the final 25 games will be against NL West opponents.
