Detroit routs Wisconsin-Green Bay 79-56

DETROIT (AP) -- Eli Holman had 12 points and 13 rebounds and Detroit shot well from the field and the line Thursday night in beating Wisconsin-Green Bay 79-56.

Chase Simon and Ray McCallum led the Titans (8-6, 2-0 Horizon League) with 17 points apiece. Chris Blake added 13 and Nick Minnerath had 12 points. Detroit, which never trailed in the game, made 57 percent of its shots from outside -- 42 points came in the paint -- and was 88.5 percent from the free-throw line, making 23 of 26 including all 13 in the second half.

Jarvis Williams and Rahmon Fletcher tied for scoring honors with 15 points each for the Phoenix (6-8, 0-2). Green Bay only got to the free-throw line for six shots, making four.
