Derek Holland does not back down from triple-down dares

Being in the sequel to Dumb and Dumber wasn't enough for Derek Holland. Now he's aiming to be in a sequel to a Christmas classic (assuming they ever make one).

Earlier in the year, the Rangers pitcher and teammate Justin Grimm visited the MLB Fan Cave in the iconic Dumb and Dumber suits. This lead to a cameo in the much-hyped follow-up to the Jim Carry-Jeff Daniels 1994 comedy.

Now, he's at it again, and this time he brought along Elvis Andrus.

Just in time for the holiday season, the Texas Rangers released a video of the duo reenacting one of the more memorable scenes from A Christmas Story.

Andrus has the nerve to triple-dog dare Holland in to sticking his tongue on a foul pole. And of course, Holland is obliged to do it.
