CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) -- Chris Johnson scored 14 points, Juwan Staten added 13 and Dayton was never threatened in a 69-51 victory over cold-shooting Charlotte on Wednesday night.
Luke Fabrizius hit four 3-pointers and scored 12 points filling in for foul-plagued top scorer Chris Wright for the Flyers (18-9, 6-6 Atlantic 10), who shredded the league's top 3-point defense by hitting nine of 19 shots from behind the arc.
The Flyers led by as many as 20 points in snapping a two-game losing streak to win in Charlotte for the first time in five tries despite Wright managing just three points and no field goals in 14 minutes.
Jamar Briscoe scored 14 points and Derrio Green added 13 on 4-of-13 shooting for the 49ers (10-15, 2-9), who shot 35 percent from the field and were outrebounded 37-23 in their third straight loss.
