D-backs sign six international free agents

PHOENIX — Jose Herrera, a 16-year-old catcher from San Carlos, Venezuela, heads a lit of six international free agents signed by the Diamondbacks.
Herrera, a switch-hitter who stands 5-feet-10 and weighs 185, was rated as the top international catching prosect by Baseball America and MLB.com. He was rated No. 7 overall among eligible international prospects by Baseball America, and No. 10 by mlb.com.
The Diamondbacks also signed two outfielders, two infielders and one pitcher:
