MONTREAL (AP) -- Major League Soccer moved the Montreal Impact's game against the Columbus Crew from Saturday to Sunday because of snow and the possibility of rain.
The league said Friday that the game will start at noon.
"Based on the snow that already has fallen in Montreal, and the forecast for the next 18-24 hours, the weather conditions will hamper efforts to clear the field and the stadium," said Nelson Rodriguez, the league's executive vice president of competition and game operations. "We believe a high probability exists that the field would be unplayable at the game's originally scheduled time of Saturday at 2 p.m."
