Coyotes to host draft party and jersey unveiling

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- The Coyotes will host a rally and viewing party for the 2015 NHL Draft on Friday, June 26, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Gila River Arena. The event is free. Doors will open at the main arena entrance (Gate 4) at 2:30 p.m.

The Coyotes have the third and 30th pick in the first round of the draft, which will be conducted on June 26 in Sunrise, Fla. Rounds 2 through 7 will be held on Saturday, June 27.

The team will unveil new home and away jerseys for the upcoming season at the draft party at 3:30 p.m. The uniforms will be modeled by former first-round picks Brendan Perlini (2014), Max Domi (2013) and Connor Murphy (2011) and second-round pick Christian Dvorak (2014). The players will be available at a "Selfie Station" to take photos with fans 16 years and younger from 6 to 7 p.m.

"We are fortunate to have some of the most loyal and passionate fans in the entire NHL and we want to invite all of our fans in the Valley to take part in our rally to show their support for our team. The Coyotes are committed to Arizona and playing at Gila River Arena."

Kids attending the Coyotes Draft party can play ball hockey on the arena floor, and the Coyotes will have two Zambonis and NHL nets available for fan photos. Kids will also have an opportunity to take a slapshot on an NHL goal or play in the Coyotes Bounce House. Howler and members of the Paw Patrol will be on hand to interact with fans, concessions will be open to all fans on the east side of Gila River Arena, and team representatives will be in attendance to share information about season-ticket packages.
