GLENDALE, Ariz. -- The Arizona Coyotes on Wednesday claimed forward Mark Arcobello off waivers from the Pittsburgh Penguins, and for the second time this season waived forward Brandon McMillan.

"Mark Arcobello is a quick, skilled player who will give us more depth at the center position," Coyotes general manager Don Maloney said in a team release. "With center Marty Hanzal's extended injury, Mark is a welcomed addition to our Club."

The 5-foot-8, 172-pound Arcobello recorded 8-7-15 and 14 penalty minutes (PIM) in 50 games this season with the Edmonton Oilers, Nashville Predators and Penguins. In 2013-14, the Milford, Conn., native registered 4-14-18 with eight PIM in 41 games with the Oilers.

The 26-year-old Arcobello has collected 12-21-33 and 22 PIM in 92 career NHL games.
